The Famous Southern Treat: The Tomato Sandwich

Now there are many different ways to do this and I'd bet it has to do with which part of the south you are from. Here in the midlands of South Carolina, where I grew up, this is how we did it. If you haven't done this, I absolutely suggest you give this a try. For those curious, I got the chefs knife from Battlbox as a christmas gift from the wife. If you like it, Im sure they still have it on their site.

I like real butter and fresh or toasted bread. Both you bread and tomatoe look great. We spell “ tomatoe”with the “e” here.

Tomatoes are one of my favorite healthy foods, I also like celery with peanut butter it’s great energy snack for hiking or camping. Your garden is looking great!

My dad used to get several tomatoes, cut them in wedges, salt them and sit in front of the TV and watch Hee Haw.
I sprinkle bacon crumbles on my sandwiches. With the bacon I don't need to add salt.

My wife says the only way is white bread, THICK mayo, and mater and a LITTLE salt! 😜 not my favorite but my wife’s favorite
