Tesla vs BYD: Who will win the EV pricing war, Chinese market, and global market in 2023?

Tesla recently waged a pricing war and lowered prices globally. Bloomberg, Forbes, and other media outlets believe that China’s EV maker BYD will threaten Tesla in the international market in 2023. Western media has not shown much confidence in Tesla and its founder Elon Musk since Musk took over Twitter. BYD sold a lot of cars in Indonesia to a big taxi company, airports, new townships. They along with Tesla are very close to finalise agreements with the government to open their factories in Indonesia. So BYD definitely will keep Elon in check.
