I installed a few mods to try and really immerse myself in Minecraft.

I love seeing these "immersion" mods that make the game absurdly difficult that clearly took at least several months of production and then when I scroll down just a little further on curse forge I see a mod with like 400 downloads that just adds a singular red stress ball with a sad face on it that occasionally explodes

my favorite piece of immersiveness he got was his room getting hotter from being in the nether, which was an amazing coincidence that the nether would make your computer work extra hard and therefore produce more heat faster

I love it when people making a video get fed up with the game and just start cheating. No really, that's not sarcasm, I think one of the most relatable experiences about this game is getting fed up with how much of a slog it can be at times and just wanting to get on with it. It's a hell of a lot more authentic than "I built the statue of liberty out of netherrite in hardcore!!!"

I feel like it's important to consider that ImmersiveMC is mainly for VR and not supposed to be used in regular gameplay.

this is kinda funny but its frustrating to see some people take this as a serious representation of modding when its a bunch of separate mods being haphazardly stacked on top of eachother by someone who just installed a bunch of mods tagged as immersive and "immediately forgot what most of them were"

i cant express the wave of, something like, nostalgia that hit me upon seeing your minecraft character move its head while you spoke. i never see anyone do that now days but it was so prominent just a few years ago.

Yes because there's nothing more immersive than bursting into flames and needing to cool off while going through a casual stroll through the village, and having a weird blue cube gui appear on every single crafting table, furnace, or loot chest. XD
