Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 Review

"Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 blows off a heck of a lot of heads, but never managed to blow my mind. Its long range sniper shots feel genuinely satisfying to pull off, but the enemy AI is so dimwitted it almost seems cruel to kill them. With an upgrade system that's largely skippable and mostly uninspired mission challenges, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 is a competent sniper sim that lacks the edge required to be a real sharpshooter."

Complaining the game was too easy and that he didn't need upgrades in it because the difficulty never ramps up, yet is playing it on one of the EASY difficulty settings. Try playing it on 'deadeye' difficulty. The entire game becomes difficult, and you end up crying out for upgrades. One of the best FPS games out there. If it was called COD Sniper Ghost warrior contracts this guy would have loved it.

Play it on veteran or higher and then it becomes quite challenging. You can barely use drones because the sound will attract guards; the window of time when a guard spots you is drastically lower making it more difficult to sneak past; distracting a guard can backfire; almost no HUD; you can be killed with literally 3 bullets from a standard assault rifle. The only option is to kill as less as possible and move.

Already played it myself. It's somewhere between a 6 and a 7. It's still really fun tho especially the 2nd mission (literally the best designed level in any Sniper game) but after that the missions just got stale and there are plenty of bugs and graphical issues. But overall, not bad

Never enjoyed any other sniper game than this one. Perfectly nailed it!

A first person stealth shooter, you don't get these type games that much, but this game nails it. It does have a bit dumb AI and AI getting stuck at places, if you want a challenge bump up the difficulty settings. Any game is played best with a difficult setting.

More map dlcs incoming, so waiting like a patient sniper before pulling the trigger...1 year after the actual launch date.

Of course a reviewer would admit not to bother with the optional challenges. They just wanna rush through the game (forgetting about key aspects of the game in the process) just to get the review out as quickly as possible
