Gitanerías - Ernesto Lecuona

Ever since I moved to Spain I have become ever more enriched culturally. This particular work by Cuban composer Ernesto Lecuona has captured the fire of Spanish fire and soul. Truly magical, this piece is one of the most exciting compositions I’ve ever played, and what a pleasure it has been to learn it and grow both musically and technically as I understand my own culture and musical roots.

What happened at 00:46 with that tempo drop? It didn't work, in case you did it on purpose, other than that ...beautiful, but I feel there was room for a juuuust a littleeee more dynamics to call the performance "pristine". I give it an 8/10, because of the tempo-drop at 00:46 and the lack of a bit more dynamics. And yes, I couldn't find a better performance of Gitaneiras on piano than this. Congrats to the uploader and kindly thank you for sharing it with us!
