Played this for the first time tonight. This game is fantastic! I can't believe people don't talk about it more. I think I might even prefer the original rules. It was interesting how the scouts had to move backwards depending on how efficient you were. Did they make the change to prevent people from going backwards and then loading up on resources without penalty?

Incorrect rule at @7:48 --- You can only use *one* face-down card to power the ability of the face-up character card you're using.

You can add Indian meeples to the face-down card to increase its action boost (to a maximum of 3), or just use Indian meeples (1 to 3) to power the face-up card, but you can never use more than one face-down card and never have more than a 3-Indian powering of the face-up card.

For the record, "Native American" is an outdated term and they overwhelmingly prefer to be called "American Indians.".
