Μετά από σφοδρές μάχες που διήρκησαν αρκετές ημέρες, το ρωσικό υπουργείο άμυνας ανακοίνωσε πριν από λίγα λεπτά, ότι η Πόλις Εάλω, ότι δηλαδή ο οικισμός της Κωνσταντινούπολης που βρίσκεται στην περιοχή του Ντόνετσκ, απελευθερώθηκε από τους άνδρες του ρωσικού στρατού και έχει τεθεί πλέον υπό τον έλεγχο της Ρωσικής Ομοσπονδίας.
"Μονάδες της ομάδας δυνάμεων «Ανατολή», ως αποτέλεσμα ενεργών και αποφασιστικών δράσεων, απελευθέρωσαν τον οικισμό της Κωνσταντινούπολης στη Λαϊκή Δημοκρατία του Ντόνετσκ.", αναφέρει η λιτή ανακοίνωση του ρωσικού υπουργείου, σκορπίζοντας χαρά στους Ρώσους, που βλέπουν τις στρατιωτικές τους δυνάμεις που μάχονται στην Ουκρανία, να προχωρούν συνεχώς και να καταλαμβάνουν όλο και περισσότερα εδάφη, των τεσσάρων περιφερειών που ενσωμάτωσε η Ρωσία.
"Οι απώλειες του εχθρού ανήλθαν σε περισσότερους από 145 στρατιώτες, ένα θωρακισμένο όχημα μάχης, ένα αυτοκίνητο και τρεις μονάδες πυροβολικού πεδίου, συμπεριλαμβανομένης μιας αυτοκινούμενης μονάδας πυροβολικού "Krab" πολωνικής κατασκευής.", συνέχισε το ρωσικό υπουργείο, ενώ την ίδια στιγμή, η είδηση κάνει το γύρο των ρωσικών ΜΜΕ, που κάνουν λόγο για άνοιγμα του δρόμου για τα ρωσικά στρατεύματα, προς τους οικισμούς Bogatyr και Alekseyevka, καθώς η "ρωσική αρκούδα" δεν διαθέτει χρόνο για ξεκούραση, τουλάχιστον μέχρι να πάρει όλα τα εδάφη της περιφέρειας του Ντόνετσκ.
