Όπως αναφέρουν ξένα μέσα ενημέρωσης, η Μεγάλη Βρετανία αποφασίσει να στείλει βαρύ οπλισμό, στην κυβέρνηση της Ουκρανίας, ώστε να ενισχύσει την άμυνα της, για να μπορεί να ανταπεξέλθει σε μία πιθανή στρατιωτική αναμέτρηση με τη Ρωσία.
Αυτό ανακοίνωσε στο κοινοβούλιο, ο Βρετανός υπουργός Άμυνας, Ben Wallace, λέγοντας ότι ο οπλισμός που στέλνεται στην Ουκρανία, είναι αντιαρματικά όπλα, χωρίς όμως να διευκρινίζεται η ποσότητα και τι είδους είναι, παρά μόνον πως είναι ελαφριού τύπου και μικρού βεληνεκούς δράσης και ότι η Βρετανική κυβέρνηση πήρε αυτή την απόφαση και προχώρησε σε αυτή την ενέργεια, ώστε να ενισχύσει τον αμυντικό μηχανισμό της Ουκρανίας.
Και πρόσθεσε λέγοντας, ότι σήμερα Δευτέρα, παραδόθηκαν ήδη τα πρώτα συστήματα και πως ένας μικρός αριθμός στρατιωτικού προσωπικού της Βρετανίας, θα παράσχει εκπαίδευση για λίγο καιρό, στους Ουκρανούς, πάνω στην χρήση αυτών των όπλων.
Επίσης, επισήμανε ότι δεν αποτελούν απειλή για τη Ρωσία, αλλά είναι μόνο για αυτοάμυνας, καθώς δεν είναι στρατηγικά όπλα.

According to foreign media, Great Britain has decided to send heavy weapons to the Ukrainian government, in order to strengthen its defense, so that it can cope with a possible military confrontation with Russia.
This was announced in the parliament by the British Minister of Defense, Ben Wallace, saying that the weapons sent to Ukraine are anti-tank but without specifying the quantity and what kind they are, except that they are light type and short-range and that the British government took this decision and took this step in order to strengthen the defense mechanism of Ukraine.
He added that the first systems had already been handed over on Monday and that a small number of British troops would be training Ukrainians for a short time on the use of these weapons.
He also noted that they are not pose a threat to Russia, but are only for self-defense, as they are not strategic weapons.
