Cardo voice command Fix

That was NOT a sure fix in my case with both devices. I ensured voice command was on from the gate within the settings, again for both devices prior to updating them out the box.

Cardo's follow up response to me is that the natural was working, but it wasn't working with MY voice regardless. It would only respond to 1 in 20 commands if that much. They claim my voice wasn't calm enough although I sent audio files to them reducing the bass in my voice and inflection to soften it; and the results were the same.

I updated my device yesterday and my device for the first time responded to multiple commands. Which means in their findings from a audio engineering aspect, and most likely using the audio files I sent in they discovered a bug in the matrix. The previous update did not resolve this 30 days or more ago.

Don't get me wrong I like the product, but if there is a issue then you have to admit to it whether you have experienced it or not because I have been troubleshooting this bug for almost two months with my Android and iPhone. The settings for the device are very basic and not confusing at all.

Although I am still noticing that if my voice has any inflection, strength, or heavy bottom at all it will NOT respond. It should respond simply to the words and audio signature of "Hey Cardo"+ command period... I should NOT have to modulate my voice EVERY time before I speak.

It must be my voice. I listened to your video and I was wearing my helmet with Cardo Freecom 4 Plus turned on. EVERY time you said a command (my PC speakers about 2 feet away), it worked! Every time I said a command it stayed silent. A few times it has worked for me, but I had to dangle the microphone a few inches below the helmet. I have played to volume, mic sensitivity and voice recognition sensitivity, but to no avail. Bummer. They must have programmed this to accept folks with a foreign accent or something. Still a pretty good unit, but I would have liked this feature. PS I also upgraded my firmware and there was no difference.

So if you are not in the US but in the UK you need to go to Language and Display option (0.30 seconds) and change the Unit Language to English(UK) - I feel so dumb for not seeing this sooner, I was trying to talk with Chris Caliente's accent and then noticed the Unit Language and suddenly it was all working perfectly. So you either have to talk like an American or with a British accent, not sure what the rest of the English speaking World has to do though!

So like others on this thread, I am having issues with the voice commands it started working listening to Chris Tutorial commands haha. When I try it myself it will give me maybe two voice prompts and a lot of HOPE, but then it goes back to the SCREW YOU man MODE. went to CYCLE Gear yesterday where it was purchased and they really went out of the way to help me out with the settings and set up they even swapped out the unit with a new one. After another update and resets still no Voice commands. It's a cool feature wish I was able to enjoy it

Changing Unit language to English (US) from English (UK) worked for me!

I live in Wales, I purchased the Cardo in Wales but no matter what I try it will not respond to my Voice commands, a premium product of this nature should work whatever your accent or there should be an endorsement that reliable voice command is available only in North America. I have been sold a product not fit for purpose. A crying shame because in every other regard this is the best quality and efficient communication device I have used.

Thx you for the video. I have the Cardo harness installed on all 3 of my helmets, and voice command does work on any of them. I am from NZ. I think it struggles with accent.

Hey thanks for the post, didnt work in my case but i did find my issue by looking through settings, it appears my unit was set to english us not english uk, once i changed them happy days for me, but due to you guiding me to settings
