The three princesses song "I want to be like other girls" was in rotation around here when my daughter was little. Not from watching this movie, but from the Princess Sing-Along DVD. She loved that disc.

I have a friend (who isn't even into movies) that made me watch this in college because I didn't believe her in thinking it could be **that** bad... Yeah, appologies were given pretty much after the first ten minues lol

They played and replayed this movie way too many times on the Disney Channel in my country, so I have a soft spot for it, it has a lot of problems, yes, but it is mindlessly enjoyable

There was maybe suppose be a Mulan 3 and there may be a live action Mulan 2.

This is probably the most despised of the direct the video sequels. The Nostalgia Critic put it best: It is not the worst of the DTV sequels, but it is the one he hated the most because Mushu turns into a villain here, so unlikable that he rather have Gurgi back. Also, the whole thing about marrying to create an alliance is a big deal, but they treat it like a side thing, and they instead, marry the men they love. That would be fine, but what about China? Without an alliance, they are doomed, but the film never addresses it. This is also the most over animated of the DTV sequels, too much movement, and everyone is drawn like comic relief. And of course the stupid romantic comedy troupes. This is just a sin against nature. I am glad to trashed it, but I think you were just too kind to it a little.
