I love the stiphodon blue gobies, only problem is they are hard to find and haven't been successfully bred in captivity (last I heard). Often come with parasites and eat biofilm/algae so they can starve in newer tanks.

I have 4 Otos, I think three are females and one male (male is noticeably smaller). I absolutely love watching them- they are so so different from anything else in my tank!

My mystery snail certainly does reproduce! It currently has 3 seperate clutches of eggs up in my tank. 😮‍💨

I have 10 red cherry shrimp and 3 Chinese algae eaters, they are now 3-4 inch long and I haven’t seen them attack anyone except they chase each other. Will they eat my semi adult red cherry shrimp ? I have some guppy fry in the tank too and I don’t see them chasing those babies too, but I’m worried about my shrimp being eaten alive. What should I do ?

If you realy want to get rid of algae, you should go for amano shrimp, sewllia lineolata, nerite snails, and otocinclus catfish. Not saying the ones you named are not great, but these ones are more effective.

I'd say if you want a snail that won't procreate, maybe go for nerite. My mystery snails breed all the time in my shrimp tank!😅 I always walk in and find them having... Encounters 😅.
