G'day everyone!
Today we go over 5 of the best algae eaters for nano 5-10 gallon aquariums. If you could use some extra hands when it comes to slimy, hairy algae then check these species out. It's important you research more into each species if you're considering keeping them for the first time. Enjoy the video!

Ottos are great, I love their derpy-shark-tadpole faces, and they are masters of managing algae. In a slightly bigger aquarium I’d go for the Hillstream Loach. Good to see a video from ya Lazarus 🐠

I got some cherry shrimp about 4 months ago, still waiting for them to breed. When I got them I set my light to be on for 12 hours/day so more algae would grow for them to eat. I have them in with endlers which I am breeding for feeding to my turtle. Since getting them I was wondering what else I might breed for turtle food, so I picked up some ramshorn snails to start breeding in the tank too, I figure if I get a good colony of snails/shrimp going I can then introduce them into my turtle's tanks, where I hope the turtle will find them to be a delicious little snack. I'm also thinking about getting some Mexican orange dwarf crayfish down the road, but I want to wait until the shrimp and snails have colonized at least two of my tanks before I bring in the crayfish. Anything else you can think of that'd be low maintenance to breed, good tank mates with endlers/shrimp/rams horn and that a painted turtle would like to eat? I'm looking for anything that's not a mimic of what I already have, like I don't' want to breed another fish, I have endlers, don't want to breed a different shrimp, I have cherry, etc.
