👉 Learn how to classify the discontinuity of a function. A function is said to be discontinuos if there is a gap in the graph of the function. Some discontinuities are removable while others are non-removable. There is also jump discontinuity.
A discontinuity is removable when the denominator can be factored such that the factor that makes the function discontinuos can be cancelled out with its common factor in the numerator. Otherwise the discontinuity is not removable.
A discontinuity is said to be a jump discontinuity when the function approaches a certain point both from the left and from the right but the function is not defined at that point.

Would piece wise be considered removable or nonremovable
Ex)|x-1|/(x-1)

So for the last problem, would that be considered continuous even though there are asymptotes?
