The fact the dog went to GET someone is so amazing and so heartbreaking.

This and the Casey Anthony case are two of the most disheartening cases in the US. Both 100% because the investigation part was botched and rushed.

I was in middle school when this happened. We watched the trial and verdict in class. Our history teacher wanted us to understand the court system. We pretend we were the jury and had debates about the evidence and the verdict. Even at 11, 6th grade, none of us thought he was innocent. We were totally shocked by the verdict and I learned at a very early age that justice isn't always served. I felt the same way I felt when Casey Anthony was found not guilty.

I genuinely believe his ridiculous behaviour with the escape, car chase etc. Was to distract people away from sympathising with Nicole and making it all about him. He was so calculated and he knew if he pulled the suicidal card, it would buy him and his lawyers time to manipulate public opinion. Truly sick.

Ugh. The fact that OJ got to self-surrender, then got the deadline extended and then STILL didn't get arrested right away because they wanted to 'break the news gently' is infuriating. How many people get those privileges???

The fact that this case was made into such a joke in pop culture really shows how desensitized we are as media consumers

I ALWAYS believed he killed her, the domestic violence, the control of her not being allowed to work, the manipulation of not even wanting men in her life - it was all calculated and disgusting. What more than likely happened was Ron was dropping off the glasses and OJ snapped because all he would have saw was "some man going to his ex wife's house late at night". It's tragic she probably thought she was safe finally being divorced from him, but he'd never let her go. I wonder if the first wife ever had a history of being abused as well, but didn't talk about it.

I am blown away at how cut and dry this seems, yet he was found NOT GUILTY?? There are no words for the anger I feel about this case...

One thing that was never really covered was the Simpsons Dog . Nicole’s dog was an Akita . Very Very a protective breed. A very large powerful dog. The dog was found running the neighborhood covered in blood. A couple found the dog and followed the dog back to the Simpsons house where they found the bodies. An Akita’s if it was with Nicole that night would not have let a stranger touch her or the killer would never have left the scene. So the true killer was well known by the dog

The fact that he wrote 'sometimes I felt like a battered husband' when she called the cops on him multiple times because he actually abused her is so audacious. He consistently acted like such a poor poor victim with the whole 'oh he's in such a bad mental state, he has a gun to his head he's gonna kill himself if u don't respect all his wishes' like he wasn't fleeing arrest and being treated nicer by police than any other person would. Anyone else and they'd have shot at the car, and frankly - that's a fleeing murder suspect with a loaded weapon, if it's justified at any time it's then.

I didn’t know the ins and outs of this case and always wanted to know more about it. The OJ Simpson case is one of the examples of why TV trials are so infamous. I believe that he did murder Nicole.

Yes, he did. We had to recreate the investigation in a forensic law class in high school. Examining evidence and the trial absolutely convinced me that he is guilty. Just like the Lorena Bobbit case, it makes me sick how many jokes are in media from the 90s & 2000s about this horrific murder. I was born in 1992; I had no idea what this was REALLY about until high school. No one in my family ever said “he ain’t do it!” And I’m at least grateful for that…but that was the sentiment among a lot of people. It’s just sick.

I remember learning about the mess ups by the cops and forensics in my CSI class, the cross contamination not allowing evidence into court and such. Its crazy that he got away with it.

He definately did it. He wasn't framed. His son didn't do it. He confessed to his then best friend, who subsequently never talked to him again.

He 1000% did it!! I was 23 when this happened and lived in the area and have followed thus case for years. The cops made huge mistakes, but this man absolutely killed her and Ron and he got away with because the cops screwed up and cost them the case.

I remember watching him be found not guilty on TV when I was in 8th grade. I have ALWAYS believed he did it, and no one will ever convince me otherwise.

I read that every time nicole called the police that they would become star struck when they saw OJ and he would turn on the charm like only an evil narcissist can and play it up that she was a hysterical women, including one time when she emerged naked from a bush in the yard where she’d been hiding right in front of the cops, and she BEGGED them to take him away because she was in danger and they did nothing.

My mom was in labor with me during the car chase. She was pissed at the nurses for paying attention to the TV rather than her 🤣

He totally killed them both and it's so obvious that it hurts. Absolutely insane how he get away with it.
