Thank you for taking a stance here, Mrs. Sharma and Firstpost team. This is a very important discourse to have, especially when the governments of all sides who take part in this global political arm wrestling with Taiwan as the focal point don't want their own people to know what is actually going on around Taiwan.

The West, we, are behaving almost oblivious to the impact such "prestige visits" to the island have for global politics. We, the West, stand with Taiwan and will stay on their side in any military event. But we have to realize that constantly poking a fragile structure might make it reach a tipping point way faster.
