Thanks for the refresher! They hid Link Sharing in Quick Share. I wondered where it went. It is a wonderful option and a Samsung exclusive I'm pretty sure. Take a nice 4K video and send it to someone to see the real video and not some horrible, compressed video by text.

This was the only concern my wife had with going from iphone to samsung. In my opinion this looks like it works better than sharing through imessage.

Yes works fine on my Samsung note 10 plus and happy I can send large files to my old 2014 Samsung tablet via QR code 😊 massive life saver ❤

link sharing is a beast. Ngl without it it would be a pain. Probably would have to manually upload it to google drive/drop box, create a link and have the other one figure out how to download it. With this its just one big download button. Crazy good.

It was working fine until last week, now it doesn't show me the options anymore. Any idea why? I got a galaxy note 10 plus. It is enabled, wifi is on, bt is on. It just give me the qr code, but the videos are over 3gb

You don't just have to copy link. You could share the files directly into a other app by selecting "share link using app".

Jimmy new but not the most tech person. My Samsung A53 clips 22 second video at 2 seconds when attached to text message or attached to Hotmail. It gets trimmed to 2 seconds. If I can get your presentation here to work will I get the complete video off the phone and be able to save it on my computer or other portable storage? Also at end of your video, where you closed out the ability to get access to the files, do they delete or take up space on your phone? Sorry for so many questions.

My link share is no longer available when I switched to ATT service. I'm mad about it as the convenience is gone in my texting apl

I do this for music files when I buy it on my tablet and send it to my phone.

SO my question with have used the link sharing in the past for a video and the reciever was not able to play the video unless they downloaded it. WOUld not 0play from the cloud. ALso, is there a way where the recipiant can only view the shared material but not be able to download? if we dont want photo or video to go beyond that one think private share will do that but obviosly thats only works with samsung devices
