A week after two space probes from China and the United Arab Emirates slipped into orbit around Mars, NASA's $2.4 billion Perseverance rover will attempt to land on the Red Planet on Thursday. "Mars is essentially going to run into Perseverance" I couldn't think of a more inapt way of describing what he just said. Well, all motion IS relative, you just pick your reference frame and run with that.

Their “space analyst” didn’t really give the spacecraft the extra attention it deserves. It’s a hard landing spot. But they put extra measures in the landing system. Using Lydar and other sensors as soon as heat shield release it is studying the ground using a map built in to its so that’s some serious tech that’s been tested and tested to get this puppy down!
