I just subscribed to your channel. I visited Moscow and Leningrad ( then, in 1967) as a 16 year old girl with my friend' s high school. I loved everything, the museums, the churches, the Metro, Hermitage, GUM...I learned even then that most things were not true about this beautiful country they told us back then in Europe.

I'm a big fan of Russia too, for all sorts of reasons. I see Russia as staunch opposition against the evils of Globalism. With Globalism comes the whole Western "woke" model, IMF loans and Western corporate domniation. Russia says no and I love that about Russia. I support the SMO because I understand what the West was doing with Ukraine over the last decades. Not a fan of war by any means, but under the circumstances, Russia had no choice. I see Russia as a very long-term beneficial place to be. They have all the food and energy they will ever need and more space then they know what to do with. Russia is also making a lot of friends around the world. More countries wanting to join BRICS.
