HM Queen Elizabeth departs Scotland for the final time

Tuesday 13th September 2022 saw Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth depart Scotland for the final time aboard an RAF C-17 Transport Aircraft, accompanied by her Daughter Princess Anne

Aye her body has left Scotland but her spirit has remained in Scotland along with prince Philip to walk through the highlands for ever more great filming Jim thank you so much

Hi Jim. I was in tears when I saw it on the telly. And all the faces of the RRS soldiers saying goodbye to their "boss". So moving! And now I'm in tears again. And the difference in scenery from departure to arrival....the beautiful countryside of Scotland in the sunshine, which to me fellt like a warm blancket, to the rainy, concrete landscape of London. It felt so chill there in terms of atmosphere...brrrr. Thanks again Jim for all your efforts. ❤🙏

Our Queen leaving Scotland for the last time was so sad, the commentators said she was going home, oh no, she was leaving home.

It looked as if her coffin was covered with the flag of Scotland instead of the Royal Standard; or am I wrong? Looking at a phone screen with a magnifying glass....
Very good pictures considering how far away you were.
Probably the first time a deceased king/queen has been transported by air.
