Good Question: No cash at self-checkouts

Why more stores are eliminating a cash option when you're checking yourself out.

Having worked in a supermarket I asked my manager if we would ever do that and he said doesn't matter how inefficient that is for the employees we would never treat our customers like that. Ideally what Wegmans should have done was maybe had at least two or three registers that could accept cash like many hardware stores do. My local Wegmans did this long before I covered started and it is just laziness. I'm a cash customer that would like to be able to use cash itself scans that I am not the only one.
