Aethric - Item and Gear Beginner Guide (quality, rarity, levelling gear)

The cornerstone of every in-depth RPG game is the loot system, the endless search for epic ger that keeps us grinding and grinding and grinding. In Hero of Aethric it's no different that love for better gear will keep you playing for a long time. Hero of Aethric's gearing system is quite simple and easy to understand with only 7 gear slots available, however the sheer quantity of unique gear and how item quality affects gear makes the looting system a joy to play for. Yes it's heavily RNG biased, but that's what makes all the great RPGs playable again and again, playing with the knowledge that even at the far end of end-game there's a possibility for finding gear upgrades for your character. If you love min-maxing you'll certainly love the quest for epic loot in Hero of Aethric.
With that said, remember that although min-maxing is typically a hardcore player trait, it certainly doesn't mean you need the best gear at every level in order to beat everything in the game, far from it. It will just mean you can kill things faster. Which is what we all want, right?

Game could use a filter for your inventory, by rarity, by stats etc would make finding the gear you want very convenient.

Newbie tip! Make sure to adorn and jewel your gear BEFORE you smith it, as the cost for doing so goes up (a lot) with each smithing level you put on your item

If "luck" increases the drop rate of any item, does that mean that the percentage of finding a higher quality item also improves? So if you choose a merchant spec, use a luck item, wear rings that decrease experience but slightly increase luck, and find a statue of luck, will the chance of dropping an ornate increase significantly?

love your videos, I just started the game few days ago and I have binged all your Aethric video by now lol. Quick question, I just hit Blademaster and luckily enough my first Griffin kill dropped me an Ornate Hurricane Arc (Bow), also an Ornate Balor Sword during questing, do you think these two is a good weapon to last me into later Tiers? if so which Tier do you suspect? So, at masterforge gold, exp and luck% are the same. But not ward% right?

So, is it worth to upgrade an standard quality ítem to lv 10 and then masterforge it?
For example the Hydra staff that increases summons stats, if I masterforge it will increase the stat bonus?

So if ur planning to masterforge a wep/equipment it doesnt matter what its starting quality is? Or it only affects the gold/ornn bonus( in the case of mimic king ) and not the basic stats( atk, matk, def, res )
