Orna, Aethric - Thief Class Progression Part 1 - Classes, Specs & Pets - Deep Dive - Beginner Guide

I go on a deep dive into thief class progression in the world of Orna. If you've ever wondered which class or specialisation you should aim for next, this guide has got you covered as long as you like playing with bows and daggers. Covering everything in a tier by tier format from level 1 to level 250, this is the first part of the ultimate guide to embark on the path of the thief in Orna.

In Part 1 we cover the main playable thief classes, the supplementary classes you'll want to pick up for their skills, recommended specialisations and pets or followers.

In Part 2 we will concentrate on itemisation. Gear plays a huge part in your source of power in Orna, so we'll focus in on the optimal equipment you'll be chasing at each tier. Don't worry if you're not a hardcore player though, we'll also provide excellent alternate item options to get you up to speed and dominating your world.

Bard is probably good from 160 to 190, but once you get quadcut from arcanic, berserker is better again until 210+.

Great content. I raised a thief and I have some doubts that are already being resolved.

Right now I am level 233 Nyx-Charmer. My build is Ornate Phantom Blinders (Level 11), Ornate Fallen Garb (Level5), Ornate Fey Dragon Boots (Level 9-using them for +Follower Act, which is nice with mz Orichalcum Golem), Legendary Fallen Shield (Level 5, but it is only a temporal one, I am currently upgrading Ornate 191% to lvl 10 :D) and 199% Ithras Blade. Skills I use are: Golems Fortitude, Barrier ll, Threaten, Mute, Outwill, Bears Might, Lightning Affinity, Divine Bastion (will switch to Divine Bastion ll once I have enough orns to buy Titanguard), pots I use are Speed Tonic and Attack Tonic. I can do insane dmg to Appoliyon (Personal best 3.3kk-3.4kk at level 222 and wth Legendary Fallen Shield, will edit comment once I equip Ornate one) :)

I'm at Tier 5 Dragoon, and I just watched this video and either you're missing something or I am because Volley is GOAT. It's basically a Tricut that doesn't cost mana, and grants you one turn of ward. With blight arrows in your offhand it even causes a debuff. Nothing else even comes close to working as well.

Welp 160 and finally get Majistrate (I want to be gilgamesh, but due to a lot of requirements for him you offer me to go Nyx), picking a twilight wisp, but not sure about specialisation go for bard or keep berserk?

This seems fairly difficult to follow along with at this point. Dragoon is in the vahallan tree and various other things feel kind of scrambled about. Still lots of good info, but I dont know what to sub in at certain points since I am quite newb. Only a couple days in.

Hey Shabbash, is the Assassin more viable option after recent updates or still Cataphract is the king for Realmshifter?
