Is Buying FIVE CHEAP JEEPS a Mistake?!

The hunt to find five super cheap Jeeps Libertys continues, with an ongoing search for dumpster fire number 4! Unfortunately, in this video, I think Kevin starts to doubt this idea altogether...

I had a 2007 I bought in 2009. They go surprisingly well off-road. The major downside is limited ground clearance, especially in the front. A 2 inch lift and 30-31" tires will help. I drove it in mud down to the frame with 4 people on a deer hunt in AZ. Pulled right through and got us back to camp.

Buying one Jeep (Liberty) is a mistake. Five is a fetish.

At 2:20 it appears the lower radiator hose where it connects to the plastic piece of the engine has a small leak. Actually $4, 000 is a fair price with new tires, skid plates, clean interior, no rust rot, and somewhat lower miles. Consider what you will spend on skid plate fabrication, and new tires. The bolt on skid plates will be great for a template for the other Jeeps. This Jeep wasn’t a “deal”, but not crazy priced either. I think $3, 500 would have been a good negotiation price. I look forward to future videos on the series.

I had my 02 Liberty for 14 years, 250k miles. Never a major problem till the end. My Frakenlift tore my CV boots, and Eve tally killed my CV joints. At high miles, with a .ain seal !Sam, it was time. I still!all miss it tho.

Seems there are a bunch here in So Cal under 4k with around 150k or less miles. Just found a 2005 4x4 with 120k miles for $3500 appears to be really clean. So many commuters out here. Quite a few others similarly priced.
If the cost of renting a trailer and towing them up to you wasn't so much I would be happy to grab them for you.

there is a repair kit for the ignition switch very easy repair the only thing is that it takes a very small safty torx

If that is a 06 or 07 it is worth it because it has traction control and brake lock diffs.. def worth $4, 000.. it is way more capable than the 02 to 05 Liberty’s .. plus it has the redesigned 3.7 engine . Which is much more reliable than the older the design ..
