Life in China Under Mass Surveillance and Facial Recognition System

China has been moving into a new level of high tech mass surveillance system. Many cities in China have already started using millions of security surveillance cameras and facial recognition system with Artificial Intelligence to name and shame minor offenders, to spot a criminals or suspects among crowds of people and to identify citizens and or verify the identities of passengers at airports or everywhere. Moreover, China’s police have been also using sunglasses with built-in facial recognition with AI to identify and catch criminals, and those traveling people who use false identities.

That Jacky Cheung's concert around China, had caught 10 criminals, robbery/theft/scalpers etc. At least serious crime rate have been heavily reduced.
Society are much safer than before, even with very high population density and still very low crime rate( some of our news report said our crime rate is the lowest in the world ).

a good moral character comes from God and not from the state. You will get these kinds of measures from a godless state. They will, globally enforce good behavior and deny God at the same time. Those who know God don't need such measures. Mind you, the state has a million rules where God only has ten and people chose not to follow them. They, in the end, prefer the state over God.
