I just started reading Empire of the Vampire. I'm only 5 chapters in and already like it a lot. The writing is very strong, the dialogue is excellent and the atmosphere is thick. The setting is dark and interesting and the descriptions do a great job at painting a vivid picture.

For the first time, in a long time, I feel excited to dive back into a book every day. This book gave me that feeling back after I thought I'd lost it.

I cannot wait to see where this story goes.

What a fun video! Crescent City (book 1) is my favorite book of all time and I read it this year, my second is ACOSF that I finished recently in like 2 days so yeah, SJM does it for me. My number three is The Winner's Curse by Marie Rutkoski.

I loved Six of Crows and really must get to the second book already, but I'm scared because I was spoiled on something terrible 😅
TJ Klune is brilliant but I do love his older stuff more. Bear, Otter and the Kid is one of my top 10 favorites of all time to this day ❤️

I‘ve read house in the cerulean sea three times during the last year (I also have three versions). I would go as far as to say it’s probably my most favorite book of all time🤭🥰

I want to get into Sarah J Maas and was told I should start with the TOG series, then ACOTAR, then Crescent City! Is that a good order to read them in?

Definitely read the whole Game of thrones, but if you like the series then maybe wait for him to actually finish

I'm struggling with the 2nd Throne of Glass book....I'm so crushed 'cos I loved the ACOTAR series SO MUCH! Empire of the Vampire is still one of my very, very favourite books I've ever read!!!

Legend born is amazing, but the sequel is even better!! I highly recommend the sequel even though you didn’t love the first one. The sequel is the opposite of the first one in terms of pacing, it’s super fast paced. Also, if the trope you were talking about is the love triangle, I agree. I hate love triangles but for some reason I don’t mind this one in the sequel?? But anyway, bloodmarked is incredible, I’m currently on a huge book hangover from finishing it

I've been slowly making my way through Throne of Glass and it's amazing! HotCS was wonderful and I also really loved EotV.
Oh and SoC definitely my fav book that I've read so far in the Grishaverse :)

I read the Six of Crows duology first, not knowing about Shadow and Bone. So when I went back to read Shadow and Bone, I was very disappointed that it wasn’t as good.
But the show is awesome, so I can’t complain lol
