So my niche, cruise travel is getting me anywhere around a $20.00 CPM. Not bad. I was very surprised when I became monetized and now looking at additional revenue streams for my small channel that growing by about 150 subs per week. I'm also building a plan to go from 1600 views per day to 16000 views per day to really push this thing.

So happy you made this video. Just bought a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4. In addition to fishing, canoeing and camping, I can easily add overlanding and 4x4 to the mix. Had no idea that I "stumbled" on to of the two most profitable niches on YouTube: automotive and outdoors. Just the aftermarket upgrade for most any off-road vehicle is a niche in and of itself. It really does blend lifestyle, education and entertainment.

Geographical location of your audience also effects overall CPM. Tech videos tend to attract lot of audience from India and English speaking Asian countries, but unfortunately the CPM from these countries is literally pennies on a dollar. All this is based on my personal experience running a tech channel with around 31K subs.

Not surprised that gaming was not in this top 8 at all. Even with it being saturated, the moment you mentioned a market of folks who spend money vs are broke. I knew they were gonna be out. Too many niches I’m faking are actively against supporting monetarily.
