Italian Street Food!! 🥪 🇮🇹 World’s Most Famous Sandwich - Florence, Italy!!

FLORENCE, ITALY - Today we’re going on an ultimate Italian food tour in Florence, Italy. We’ll eat some of the most legendary street food, iconic dishes, and then end with a truly authentic and rare Florentine meal for dinner. Get ready to eat your way through Florence!

Here’s all the Italian food we ate in Florence:

Sandwich 1: Favolosa - Sbriciolona salami, cream of pecorino cheese, artichokes, spicy eggplants
Sandwich 2: La Inferno - Roast suckling pig, spicy cream, spicy eggplant, rocket
Sandwich 3: La Paradiso - Mortadella, stracciatella cheese, pistachios

Tripperia Pollini Lampredotto - You can visit Florence without trying their beloved lampredetto, a sandwich made with the cow’s 4th stomach (abomasum). Traditionally it’s just served with salt and pepper, but with some herb oil and chili oil it really bumps up the flavor.

Vivoli Gelato - Continuing with this Italian food tour with had a Gran Crema Caffè Vivoli (Affogato) - Cream gelato with coffee, at one of the original and historical gelato shops - it was delicious!

Tripe sandwich: Da' Vinattieri - Edoardo next brought us into an alley to eat Trippa alla Fiorentina - Florence style tripe sandwich, which is slightly different from the lampredetto we had already eaten earlier.

La Sorbettiera - After trying the original and old style gelato affogato, we then needed to try a modern gelato spot.

I love how they take so much pride in making each ingredient special. All natural, down to homemade bread. Makes my mouth water and sad our country doesn't have the same passion when it comes to food, taste, ingredients.

I'm living in Toronto, and during Covid, their opened a restaurant nearby that specialized in Italian flatbread. I went thinking, it'll be like Subway. The breads, the quality of meat, the olives, my mind opened a new portal of flavors. They closed within 1 1/2 years but the tastes, the skill of chefs and how amazing Italian flatbreads are, stays with me to this day. Hope to head to Florence someday

That dinner was such a gem. Really authentic Italian cuisine without any of the stereotypical dishes tourists would expect. Italy is far more than pizza and pasta guys.

Florence ITALY THE most beautiful city!!!! All the food OH MY! YOU MARK, EDUARDO, MR. TASTER, AND JEFFREY! What a wonderful food adventure starting with the sandwiches!! The huge foccia bread sandwiches! Just had to be beyond delicious! Then the organ sandwiches stomach liver, etc. Like the one with parsley and chili oils! 120 yrs WOW! The Gelato the best!!! But the elegant resteraunt with the waitress speaking fluent English was nice. Wonderful stunning food. The fettuccine wirh carrot juice and butter, the thin roast beef in butter, the prosciutto, rabbit in the chocolate sauce delicious I bet Mark, lasagna with the potato that was an experience for sure!!! Italy is my favorite country! People so friendly! Glad you and Jeffrey were able to go and show us how Italy is!!!!

Oh yes the food in Italy is just amazing 🥰 my parents are Italian born and I went there a few years ago in the south of Italy. I just loved it so much, the good is so delicious and the freshest ingredients are used always! Great video Mark I am glad you’ve been enjoying Italy
