Brilliant Apron and tutorial Jane.This will possibly be my first make as I get back into sewing after a prolonged break.I fancied making my own clothes but I think this would be an ideal project for me.

Jane this harvesting apron is an inspired idea! I'm going to find a bit of fabric and watch this again to make one. I have no button making facility on my old machine but I'll think of something. This could save much faffing about when harvesting my blackcurrants, redcurrants, apples and plums! I'm doing mine Feb 2021 so it'll be ready for the new gardening season. I align a pin for the top and bottom of buttonholes. As you sew along it is very visible. Also when you are sewing abuttonhole and changing from 1-4 always have your needle raised. It’s hard on fabric and machine to do otherwise.

I adore the apron! I can’t make out how to connect it with the string ties when you gathered it up.🤦🏽‍♀️🤣. Just push the ties through the holes.?. I’m not a sewer. I’ve only made pillows and garden grow bags.😁
