You can sew a smaller button onto the cord to keep your toggle from coming off. Or thread a bead onto the cord before threading the other side thru the casing. This is such a cute apron!

Thank you for the easy and comprehensive instructions, I am a total novice and I made one of these for my dad for fathers day, it turned out perfectly, I did make mine longer because I thought the pocket would be too small for harvesting, I will be making myself one for foraging and I will try and add pockets.

Thank you!  I love this and was looking for a pattern to make one of these as Christmas gifts for my vegetable gardening friends.  I will alter the pattern though to include a cell phone pocket on the back with a Velcro closure so it doesn't flop out when they bend over.
