INSANE Must Watch 1.5 Hour Long Fight with a HUGE Sailfish in Costa Rica

This was by far the strongest fish I have ever fought. The fight lasted so long my go-pro died mid-fight (good thing I brought 2). I quickly learned that chasing after bill fish is an entirely different kind of fishing that takes a lot of knowledge and will test your endurance and determination. Safe to say I was sore after this battle.

I decided not to chop down this footage to show just how long it takes to reel in one of these suckers. You see the sailfish in the last minute of the video but I bring it up to the boat at 25:10, 26:25, and 27:30 and it takes some insane runs away from us. Definitely a battle I will never forget.

I just found your channel and sub’d. Awesome fight. I just caught my first sailfish last Friday out of Islamorada Florida. 45 minute battle for me and I was DEAD! Also watched some of your other videos. We caught several Bonita (Albies) too. Those pigs were insane as well! Great videos!
