I think one of if the best things about this channel is that Karl doesn’t just do his research and report, he really makes an effort to understand for himself and appreciate how these runs came to be, and then shares that feeling with everyone. I've never played this game before, but I knew the moment I heard 1 cycle that there was definitely a 0 cycle. The -1 cycle was kind of a surprise, but I love that speedrunners respect the history of their games enough to do goofy stuff like naming a trick -1 cycle.

I have never heard of this game but the art style is hilarious to me. Some of the levels are these grimy, gritty buildings that would be at home in a soulslike, with this goofy bright primary colored character jumping through it. I love it.
