Phil Campion on our failing education system

Cambridge University students have voted not to support a motion calling for the commemoration of Remembrance Day, saying it glorifies war. Phil says "this illustrates just how our education system is failing by letting slip basic values and standards".

My grandad fought in WWII and afterwards was against war but he always wore his poppy with pride because it represented his friends he lost.

thing is if we hadn't gone to war in WW1 & WW2 we in the UK would be speaking German. as would most of Europe.

This is just another case of the new generation who have grown up without a care in the world, the more pampered they are the more rights they have, the less happy and more rights they seem to fight for. Rights and freedoms they would’ve have otherwise if it weren’t for their sacrifice. Youth toady are so out of touch and weak, they will whine and complain about non issues out of pure boredom. Phil Campion thinks he knows how to properly educate people, someone who never actually went to university. So arrogant to assume he knows best to educate cambridge students.
