I'd be looking for a new org. Sounds like a winding down/attempt to survive and they'll pull out of esports entirely in less than a year.

I heard that the social media/content creators and all that, were paid too high for their work. Essentially they're just cleaning up the 'leeches', if that makes sense. No matter how hard this is for them, business is business. If you're losing money, and is essentially giving people money for free to do jobs that aren't as hard as others, it does seem that this is a strategic business move.
