Many years ago, I was invited to watch the live broadcast of a Saturday morning TV show. Quite by chance, Jenna Coleman was on the same show as a guest. She'd just started out on the British soap opera Emmerdale, but even then, I knew she was going places. And so it proved when she became a top-tier companion to both Matt and latterly Peter.

So glad there are others who love Clara. I really never understood the dumb needless hate she got from the fandom. Jenna Coleman was absolutely perfect as Clara and her time with Matt Smith and especially Peter Capaldi was the best. Clara is my second favorite companion after Amy and Rory.
