I was expecting Linus to come running in and shout "f*** motion blur"

So, basically, my settings are whatever LowSpecGamer says they should be

First thing I do in every new game install: disable motion blur, film grain, and depth of field.

How about a video covering the different types of vsync? Such as fast sync. :D

You don't have to worry about graphics card settings if you don't have a graphics card! *Taps head

Came for "Graphics Card Settings" but there were only graphics settings in this video.

@TECHQUICKIE TESSELATION : Adds more geometry to a mesh. (MESH: A 3D MODEL.) The example used in video is actually called Parallax, which can be a completely different setting, and is done through texture mapping, not directly through Tessellation which can be a completely different setting. They do the same thing, adding more polygons, but some games have these separated. See GTA V vs RDR2.

I will change the settings when the GPUs are available at MSRP

Also in the regard to FOV: a wider FOV makes it feel like you're moving through the virtual world faster, since things closer to you on the edges of your screen move faster relative to you than a far away object you in the center of your screen does. Like your mouse sensitivity it's a good idea to change FOV in small increments, and once you've settled on about where you like it, keep it consistent between games.

I always watch all of these "boost your performance with these settings" videos even though I know I already know everything they cover.

You're not truly PC gaming unless you have the FOV cranked as high as possible.

I wasn't expecting in-game settings when i read "graphics CARD settings". I thought you were gonna go into driver settings and disabling power limits; such stuff.

Yall need to talk about enabling fast sync. It's basically like V-sync but with virtually no input lag and no locked framerates.
