He is not betting 1.6 billion of his own money.. thats the notional value where he could have bought the put options with some millions, without knowing the strike price and the duration its not giving full picture on his short position and he might have closed it already as it was at the end of jun position only

Wow! 5.5% interest 😂 reminds me of time when a client visited when I was working 💪 he found out the interest rate here and wanted to quit his job and start a bank here if 5.5% is high I wonder if you were dropped on your head here in India we pay 24% which is one of the least interest rate😅
