Hi Scott!  I learned to play "rhythm" guitar with a little help from my friends(no pun intended), and loose focus very quickly when it comes to music theory, so I really appreciate the breakdown!!!

I've been self teaching myself for about a month and half. Trying to learn these roots and understand how to encorporate them is proving to be time consuming but ive definitely retained the largest amount of information from this video. Thank you soo much.

Hello Scott. I'm late to the game (so to speak) in discovering you, but I'm glad I did. You have a very personable teaching style which is relaxed and inviting. That means a lot. Scott, perhaps I missed it in the description, but is it possible to buy your book in a tangible (hard, or soft copy) form?? I'm computer literate, but I'm a little older and I prefer reading and/or studying without using my laptop. Thanks.

Hey
Amazing video
Can I ask you for help?
I'm working on one song and I have a problem with finding a 4th chord that will sound good.
So far I have: Bb Dm C
And I need one more but I just can't figure out which one.
Can you help me? Thank you in advance

Give viewers 'time' to think! You are talking AS IF your learners know exactly what you were saying. Do you understand? Slow down, and let listens absorb what you're saying. Learn to PAUSE! Then slowly 'point to the diagrams'.
