I was at a boxing event last night and before the main event the MC said " all rise for the national anthem God Save the King".
I was glad to see not only loads of people remaining seated but also "booos".

If I was King Charles I'd be very worried about where we are heading.We have thousands relying on food banks and dreading the colder weather, because they won't be able to heat their homes.
Then we have asylum seekers arriving in their hundreds being put in 4 star hotels with free meals and heating courtesy of those that can't afford such luxuries.
The whole thing could ignite and unlike Queen Elizabeth, the people show no warmth towards Charles.He has been raking it in with the wind farms conveniently on his land, and tempers may get very short next winter, especially if it's a cold one.

We don't need a head of state at all. All we need is a prime minister, elected by the people who will carry out the tasks required for the upkeep and improvement of the country. That PM should NEVER allow the legislature to be farmed out to ANY organisation or foreign country and should NEVER remove existing rights from the people without the people's permission.
