It is only applicable if the sum of dividend is less than 10 after that it doesn't work (I thought I can use it in 3 digit numbers also😜 ) coz the sum of first and second digit is in two digit i.e. 10, 11, 12
For eg :
Let's take 91×11,
Left most digit =9
Right most digit =1
But, in the middle term (after adding both digits)
Middle digit = 9+1= 10

We get 9101 which wrong

The correct ans is : 1001

But i have solution for this,
We just add the extra no. In right most digit i.e.

When we get 9101
Here, we do is add the 1 from 10 (middle term) to the rightmost digit (9)
so, now we have 9+1=10 (rightmost side)and their remains 0 (in third digit place)
We get 1001

Although this guys tricks are very appriciable I follow it !👍

It's just a tricky shortened way of doing calculation of percentages. In general, it's a "conjecture" consistent to known data with "1" as part of it that is unverified and no valid basis.
Sorry, but this kind of video doesn't help address maths literacy problems among young learners but rather promotes maths illiteracy.
