This video shows how to remove moss from brick walls

I am using a mix of half a gallon of water with one cup of bleach.

Make sure to wear proper protection when working with bleach.
Gloves and goggles are highly recommended.

Scrub down the moss with a sturdy brush.
Afterwards do not forget to spray down the area with a hose.

It is also recommended to spray down the area before starting. That will help to prevent the bleach from penetrating into the wall.

This is safer than a pressure washer. Pressure washers can scour the brick if the head gets too close / pressure is too high.

Is this a specific kind of brush or will any stiff brush do?

Bleach has salt. Salt is bad for your wall. It will eventually eat it!

Environmental this is sending toxic harmful chemicals into waterways.also cleaning job was not that good. Using white vinegar is far better. Apply at 4 parts water to one part vinegar. Sponge on leave for five minutes then wash off. Plus vinegar breaks down quickly.
