Albanese says he recommits to the Uluru Statement from the Heart 'in full'

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says he recommits "to the Uluru Statement from the Heart in full" - including a "constitutionally enshrined Voice" to National Parliament.

Mr Albanese spoke at the New South Wales Labor Annual State Conference on Saturday.

"On behalf of the Australian Labor government that I am proud to lead - I recommit to the Uluru Statement from the Heart in full," Mr Albanese said.

"Including a constitutionally enshrined Voice to our National Parliament."

Typical Labor. The country is mired in flaring costs, people are wondering how they will afford to pay for their homes, whether they'll have jobs or what other problems are about to hit them, and Labor is focussed on issues which are only critical to minority groups. I notice though that his mum got a few mentions. Again. And of course all the "true believers" and trade unionists scored a Guernsey too. What a pity the trade unionists are an ever diminishing proportion of the total workforce.

Aboriginals currently have as much right as I do to make decisions about our lives. By formalising a process where one race has more input into national policy formalises racism.
