I think two people need to be similar and different simultaneously in varying capacities in order to be each other's soulmate. And that's what their relationship portrays. They both are different in a lot of ways but from time to time they do things that they both enjoy. Valentine's day, Halloween, etc. And most of all they love and support each other to no end. It's really beautiful and rare. I've never seen that in real life.
