You made a mistake about the switchaxe, the axe mode is more agile than the sword mode

A tip for all new hunters
Literally just stack as much attack gear when progressing through the early stages of the game
You can upgrade the defense of your gear. The damage you get from just stacking attack skill will really help you clear some fights that can be a drag

I've just got this game as it is on sale in steam and I am actually having a load of fun XD thanks for helping me understand the whole dango thing though - I'm kinda sad we can't play as a palico like in monster hunter generations ultimate as I found it easier but I'm getting used to playing as a human :]

certain monster drops require you to slay it, so not every situation warrants a capture.
