Can I just say thank you... I’ve always been insecure about my feet. I tried to shape my nails but I didn’t realize I left my toenails to long. I thought I had ugly toes. It’s such a simple task but makes a world a difference. I discovered my nails flair out giving that undesirable grown out shape and after following your tutorials I love the look. I’ve never had a pedicure, and never really learned how to use the pedicure kits.

I’ve been self conscious about my feet since I was a kid, my birth mother would make negative comments about my feet since I was around 5-6yo, she would say things like my toe nails look like spoons and how I could eat with them. I never understood what she meant but knew it wasn’t good. She made other jokes at my expense and never taught me how to care for my feet or nails. I would hide my feet because I felt embarrassed.
It wasn’t until I was in foster care that I got my size checked and found I was wearing the wrong size (2 sizes too small).
My husband knows I’m self conscious about my feet and when he gives me foot rubs I tend to pull away because I’m afraid or ashamed he’ll say something negative. Now that I have kids and go to the water parks and play with them I want to feel more confident. I want to teach my little girls and make it fun, they love getting their nails painted especially in the summer.

I hit my pedicured big toe Mon and it cracked a little but I removed the polish, filed it down a bit more and oiled, base coated, and reapplied polish👍👍. So soothing and looking forward to the finished Ped🤩
