i took the precurser to this camera to a smashing pumpkins concert around 2007, and I got surprisingly good photos. It helps that I was on the front row, and the lighting was really good, but still I was shocked by how good the photos were, and they hold up even by today's standards.

I became a fan of Canon’s Power Shot digital cameras when I was living in Hawaii. I used a Power Shot A640 then. They’re remarkably good!
