bell pepper
Salt pepper garlic and onion powder paprika
a pinch or two of Sugar
chicken bullion powder

I love your recipe, I remember my elders speaking of" pot liquor ". I usually steam my cabbage, then put it in a seasoned broth; especially red pepper flakes

I make mine the same way. Red and green peppers. Just about 1/4 cup water at bottom, top on won't burn. Can use orange peppers also.

I love boiled potatoes. Only difference is I put butter in the water just b4 I pour the water off. Gives more buttery flavor

Hey Gina i cook my cabbage just like you cook your’s but i put my potatoes in my cabbage

I don’t use water either. I start it off on super low and cover the pan. Then ir slowly makes liquid and I’m constantly stirring and then can turn it up at the end. Still makes a TON of water. and you have to add the cabbage a little at at time
