oldschool Cartoon Network knew how to make their shows feel like events, even the forgotten but legendary programs like Class of 3000 had God-tier bumpers. They weren't just 22 minute episodes, they were short films you HAD to see.

I remember when I was a kid, me & my older brother watched this show together & he explained the meaning of this song to me. He basically told me that Lil D was selling his soul & his freedom away to the record label & that the CEO is the Devil.

This is the one song from this show that stuck with me the most

Loved the show as a kid, even had the pilot on dvd but this song is really the only one that stayed in my brain all these years. Still randomly sing "yes sir, yes ma'am..."

Stay independent. Make your own channel and brand, if that's your thing. Always expand. Disobey.

1:12 either they sampled Vincent Price’s laugh or the singer did a good impression of it.

Now that I think about it, modern day rap usually has this same tone and frequency of sound and rhythm. Music has definitely been weaponized like it keeps telling people do what it thinks is cool then you hear people repeating the lyrics like school conditioning. Shoot that means that while people are in school getting edu and sometimes conditioned, the rap doubles the damage

Since this song's release I think I sang it at least 2-3 times a year
It would've been funny if he was referring to DJ Khalid back then lol.

This song sounds like Dirty Harry by Gorillaz
