KINGDOM HEARTS Coded - How to Play the Demo on PC! [Tutorial]

Finally, I had some time to make another video. Recently, some people have managed to access to the internal data from the Docomo P-01A and grab the KINGDOM HEARTS Coded Demo executable. This is a big step forward in the preservation of this videogame, but there's still a lot to be done.

In this new video, I'll show you how to play the KH Coded demo on your PC using a developer emulator. This emulator was used back in the day for developing phone games. In fact, judging by the game files, I'd say that the team that developed KH Coded used this same emulator as well.

For those who may run into issues on Windows 11
To run star in Japanese you may have to click "Show more options" after right clicking to get to the option shown in the video~

Oh wow, I don't know anything about coding, but I can tell you as a kid seeing this available only in Japan broke my heart because I wanted to play the next KH games so bad 😂 luckily we got Re: Coded at least. I'm still a diehard fan so if one day you manage to get the full game working I might check it out. Keep up the good work!

So I never realized this game was sprite based (similar in appearance to New Super Mario Bros. for the DS) because all of the footage was grainy

Why do people want to play the original version when we can play the DS version, which is the same thing?

I can't play the game. When I press "RUN" i simply get a white screen. Whats wrong?

Just tried downloading the file and what's in it is totally different now than what's in the video.

Some might still struggle setting this up even tho the steps are pretty clear, couldnt have made a better video.

Make sure you run most of your shit as Administrator, as it might not work otherwise.
Also, recommended to really use the paths he suggested, such as, c:/program file (x86). Don't try to run this of your E:/usbstick/school
