The Beatles have forever imprinted their musical legacy on the annals of rock 'n' roll history. But among the extensive catalogue of the Fab Four's tunes, there are guitar riffs that stand tall, capturing our attention with their uniqueness and timelessness.

Day Tripper (1965, Single):
This song boasts a riff that is both catchy and edgy. Written primarily by John with contributions from Paul, it's often seen as The Beatles' venture into harder rock territory. The riff is instantly recognizable and has since become iconic in the annals of rock guitar.

It’s a very iconic Beatles tune, the riff it’s just instantly hit you and you can honestly tell it’s the Beatles and knowing it’s day tripper, the Beatles are one of a kind band that will never be replaced. The Beatles are the best in the world hands-down.

John, Paul we know, man. It was George's riff! Give the man his credit. Never a break for George ❤

On day tripper even tho it was mostly John's song, it was Paul's voice that stood out so well on the recording in the part they actually play here "got a good reason."

It was released a year after Oh Pretty Woman by Roy Orbison... the start of the riff for day tripper is oddly similar

Well the guitar aficionados/jocks who often compile their lists don’t give the Beatles enough love for their guitarship but at least Day Tripper makes those lists of iconic guitar riffs . Of course for the top spot it is always a battle between Smoke On The Water, satisfaction, and Paranoid but at least Day Tripper makes the top 20 most of the time

Paul once said it was about sex and drugs the song to me has a lot of soul and reminds me of different songs from Motown incorporated into the Beatles own uniqueness, We can work it out on the flip side was no slouch either. Beatle brilliance.

As iconic in the annals of Rock guitar as The one the Rolling Stones' Can't Get No Satisfaction played by Keith Richard.

Hey song, composed by the Beatles before November 19 66 when Paul was killed in an automobile accident 1967 and on the Beatles never harmonized again

Great song, remember well ehrn it came out. But, the riff driven theme is uncannily reminiscent of the Stones, ' Last Time- who came first?

Inspired by Orbison's 'Pretty Woman'

It's a song about a girl getting a guy worked up then not having sex with him. Thus, "She's a prick teaser" in the original draft.
