Here is a very easy hack for preventing dry flaky lips. When you get out of the shower your skin is very damp. When you're drying off take a couple extra seconds to really scrub your lips with the towel. This has completely eliminated my dry flaky lips. And of course I moisturize afterwards and also make sure to moisturize my lips before bed.

Please go to school and study. These techniques are very abrasive (harsh) but you don't notice it because when you're under 30, your body heals damages much faster. It's better to help skin so your body can use it's resources to heal other things instead of constantly healing the damage you do. Needless back and forth just for instant gratification.

Using a toothbrush, even a soft used one is still give microscopic rips to the delicate skin of lips.
Using regular sugar and oils that the farmers prepared for eating is toxic to put on top of the skin. The pesticides and other things they used to help produce them were tested to be safe to eat, meaning our saliva and stomach acids can break them down, which are not present on top of our skin, so over time, these will cause a lot of damage on our skin if we use them against the intentions of the farmers growing them. I put a bit of moisturiser on my lips and vaseline, I get soft hydrated lips but they are not smooth, like I got lines on my lips, I really want to get smooth lips
